Stereoscopic 3D Basics and Head Tracking for Virtual Reality

Stereoscopic 3D basics

As part of a research project, Bas Zalmstra and I investigated stereoscopic 3D and head tracking. Our reprojection technique was also part of this research project.

We wrote a paper meant as introduction for game programmers who want to get into stereoscopic 3D and/or head tracking for virtual reality. The paper discusses the entire process, from the display methods to stereoscopic image generation.
